Early Childhood

Full Summer Montessori Class

HCMS is pleased to present our first Full-Summer Early Childhood Montessori Class for 3-5 year olds.

This is a traditional Montessori program in which the full Montessori curriculum is offered and is directed by two certified Montessori teachers. The summer Montessori class is designed to acclimate new students to the environment and support academic skills for both new and veteran Montessori students (summer resource activities are self-contained within the classroom). 

Just like during the regular school year, the children are given large group lessons and the directresses observe and begin giving individual lessons as appropriate. Each day maintains the consistency of the daily schedule that children in the 1st Plane of Development crave.

There is a maximum enrollment for this class of 25 students so sign up early if you'd like to ensure a spot!

Weekly Camps

We have a whole summer full of weekly “themed“ camps just waiting for your 3-5 year old to come and enjoy. These camps are a lot of fun and combine learning with art, play and science. Some of our offerings are:

Extended Day Programs

Extended Day Programs are available each week for children 3 to 12 years of age. Programs have limited availability and will be provided on a first come, first served basis. Drop in spaces will not be available. There is no prorating for student absences.
